This is what The Ontario Rescue Is Fighting Against
Dear Mom and Dad
I Died Today. You got tired of me and took me to the shelter. The were overcrowded (THEY DIDNT TELL YOU) and I was chosen at random to get the needle. I know you had no idea this would happen. I am in a dog dump now. Some other puppy will receive the barley used puppy leash left for me.
Would I still be at home if I hadn't chewed your shoe? I didn't know it was your favorite. It looked like a toy on the floor for me. You forgot to get me toys
Would I still be at home if I was housebroken? Rubbing my nose only made me ashamed that I had to go at all. There are books and youtube videos that could have shown you how I can ask to go to the door. But I guess you were too busy.
Would I still be at home if I hadn't barked? I was only saying "i'm lonely, I'm scared, i'm here...I'm here...I want to be your best friend."
Would I still be at home if you had taken the time to care for me and teach me manners? You only gave me attention for a week but I spent All my time Waiting for you to Love me!
I Died today! Broken and Missing you!
Love, Your Puppy
